Final Tweaky Tweaks


This is it! The Update that I'm going to say the game is officially finished!

Of course there could still be things added and tweaked if enough people complain or there's a good request, BUT I'm saying it's done.

The biggest changes I made in this update are the general design of some of the problem levels and how mechanics are conveyed. There where some things at the start that got people stuck because they didn't figure out a critical ability the player has. I hoped that this would work out through simple trail and error, but I understand that that doesn't always work and sometimes it needs to be flat out told.

Another thing that was an issue is that there were some mechanics I just forgot to tell... :D

Difficulty was a big issue as I had been the only one testing it and since I'm such an epic gamer (yep definitely) I didn't realize how hard it was. Especially since I am on pc and many are on mobile where the controls are a little more difficult. I tweaked the levels to have a more manageable number of enemies and made the enemies more predictable and easier to overcome. Adding many more stars to levels also helped with this and made it more fun to just go crazy and not die as hard. Oh and the camera is much better now. It juts out way in front of you so you don't accidentally walk into bad things and can actually see.

I hope this fixes peoples problems with the game and makes it easier, and I'm glad I finally finished the text in the books.

Changes:

  • Added more stars in general
  • Added more to how mechanics are taught
  • Changed layouts of levels so that they are more readable
  • Changed the look of switches so they're easier to see
  • Changed difficulty of enemies
  • Added more guide snails to tell a more rounded series of events
  • Added books to collect in the final levels
  • Story in the books
